    Stalls out on hole shot

When the nose comes up the exhaust ports go under water and the back pressure kills the engine. The gradual holeshot keeps the ports above the water and eliminates the back pressure problem. Frank

    Trailer Light Replacement

Definitely upgrade to the LED's. Those tailight capsules were a poor product to begin with. My Nitro is 15 years old and I've replaced enough of those stupid capsules to keep Wesbar in business. I will never buy anything else from Wesbar.

    Let the Walmart clearance begin...

Steve, I believe all the Walmarts in the Knoxville area are about the same. The West Knoxville stores are pathetic. I try to buy everything I need from 1 Limit in Farragut. They have the good stuff we need. Frank

    Drop Shot Question

Beck, that's the setup for me. I use a 7 foot medium Lightning Rod with 6 or 8 pound Vanish. My favorite baits are a 4 inch worm, nose hooked on a #1 hook and a Senko, wacky rigged on a 2/0 hook. Frank

getting gas imto the gas tank

Definitely the vent hose. On my Nitro 180 I loosen the filler cap, remove the vent cap and blow through it to force the gas out of the hose and back into the tank. It works like a charm. Good fishing. Frank

    Livewell help please.

In my 1991 180TF the livewell connections are accessed through the carpeted panel behind the driver and passenger seats. If the water is overflowing you need to check for a plugged overflow tube. There should be no way to pump water in faster than the overflow will let it out. Frank

Quote from Rob :"Will they catch fish? Sure. Are they the best for the job? Probably not." Rob, that was perfect. Frank

Make it an Improved Blood Knot and it will hold fine. You have to make that extra pass through with the tag end or it will slip every time. frank

    Allah or Jesus?

This is a phony message that has been making the rounds for quite a while however, the message is valid. Rob, all Muslims follow the Quran which says "Convert the Jews and the Christians or kill them". Simnitro, the crusades and the spanish inquisition were abominations from a deceived...

New 750 owner with a fueling question

Many of us have been in this situation. There is a dip in the vent hose that collects gas that sloshes out of the tank. The gas in the hose blocks the flow of air during fueling. I tried several fixes that didn't help. I finally realized that all I had to do was remove the vent cap and blow...

Found this on Consumer Reports today (CARS)

I'm not surprised. My 1999 Grand Cherokee blew a rear main seal at 50K.The Cherokees are also notorious for radiator problems. Frank

    Flowmaster on Tow Vehicle????

IMHO, Expensive and noisy. That's all there is to them. I bought a used F150 with a Flowmaster already installed. I couldn't stand it for long. At highway speeds the noise in the cab would give me a headache. I paid to have it replaced with a stock muffler. The neighbors appreciate it as...
