Michael..... I have never had a lure break off on a cast that I can remember..... It sounds to me like you've got either a knot or line problem...... I assume that you're using a good line. When you tie the knot, are you lubricating it with saliva before you sinch it down? me!

To paraphrase Mr. BJ..... My first baitcaster was a Diawa and it worked great up until I decided to take it apart to oil it....i was like 50 yrs old and i never really got it put back together.... I have smallish hands so I really like the feel of the 100-series Curados.
