Got a problem with four bank minnkota charger on the used boat I just bought. On one of the banks the red light stays on and says check connection. I've checked connection and swapped the banks around to different batteries and still no difference, light stays on. Checked fuses, they are good. Could the bank somehow be shorted out inside the charger? I don't have the model number right in front of me( but it is the top of the line 4 bank charger). Manual I have is for models MK230,MK345,MK440 and MK460. Any advise?

If you move the connections and the same light is on when you move the leads to another battery chances are it is in the charger.

Yeah, thats what was happening. The charger is only a couple years old and a rather expensive one so it was hard for me to believe that something could go wrong with it already but it is appearing that way. Thanks
