OK... One more question before the weekend... This boat I just bought had a faulty water pressure gauge, so the dealer sent me a new one. I just installed it and I'm sure it'll work fine. My question is... What am I looking for when monitoring this gauge? Is there a certain psi reading that I'm monitoring OR just that there is ANY water pressure present to cool the engine?

Thanks for reading...

Thumper -

When you're up and running - 10 to 15 psi.

(You may not have any for the first few minutes after you start it until the engine warms.)

me!
