Just bought a DSI fishfinder. Was wondering if it would be better, just as good or not as good to mount it to trolling motor vs transom. Looking for some opinions.

I have one on each. The structure scan works best with the transom mount. If you mount one up front, be sure to not use the trolling motor batteries for power.
