I'm not so sure about that. I fished a big tourney on Bull Shoals last week and the second place finishers said they fished an Eakins Jig both days. The winners caught almost all of their fish on a green ghost wiggle wart on pea gravel. 2 day tournament took 24+ lbs to win. I wasn't even close but it was a good experience for me.

Skeet Reese did nothing at all ? I wonder if he even fished? I wonder what the weather was like,and water temp, this time of year.

I think that it is still pre-spawn, with the temps in the low 50's (water). Water is very clear, compared to last year. Also, given that Hackney tore them up pretty good (and lost a fish or two), it's almost a sure bet that there is a jig bite going on somewhere.
