Onboard Charger Pro Guide V-175 Combo

Has anyone installed a 2 bank onboard charger on a 2011 Tracker Pro V-175 Combo? I am trying to decide where to put it. Apparently the charger shouldn't be mounted on a carpeted surface, so that doesn't leave too many options. Also with the distance between batteries, I think I might have to mount it somewhere in the middle so the cables reach. Also wondering if it is a good idea to mount it on an aluminum part of the boat - I wouldn't want there to be any chance of it grounding... Thanks!

Hi Dylan,



The recommendation to not mount on carpet is due to the heat from the charger as it can discolor the carpet. Use some standoffs if you are concerned.

Dylan- Where did you end up mounting the charger? I just purchased the same boat in July and was trying to figure out the same thing.
