I have a 2008 Mercury Opti Max 150 Direct injection with 46 hours on the engine. I was thinking about using STARBRITE Star* Tron fuel treatment. Any comments about this product or what you do for your engine would be appreciated!!

Mercury has been recommending the use of Quickleen in every tank of fuel since 2001 check out this link.

I've been using Startron for six plus years with good results.

Steve

Startron treats the fuel to keep it fresh, the Quickcleen or Sea Foam is to minimize carbon buildup.

I use Quickleen and Quickare in EVERY tank of gas...

If I don't have access to both of them I use Startron and Marine Stabil.

Berry,

Stabil makes an ethenol treatment, Quick Care is a stabilizer too. Seafoam also helps stabilize ethenol gas.

I use Startron for ethanol and stabilization. I also add Quickleen to prevent carbon build up. I do this in EVERY tank.
