2012 Nitro Z7 Gauges

Just purchased a 2012 Nitro Z-7 . Left over on dealer floor. Had it out two times in a couple weeks and have a few questions someone may know. My trim and water pressure gauges don!t seem to be functioning correctly? I have had a tracker boat before and it too wasn't correct all the time. Tilt gauge is not big deal but water pressure is. What should the gauge be at 3000 RPMs it's showing 5 all the time? I mentioned this to dealer and he said its normal? Since this new to me should the water pressure gauge be more precise? When the tac is up shouldn't water pressure be up too? Any replies on this before I go back to dealer.

Thats not normal at all. Mine runs ~5psi at idle and it climbs to 15-20 at wide open.



Im betting that at one point that boat was run on the muffs or something in the shop and then put outside where the gauge froze. That has happened to me a few times and what you describe is exactly the same as what happened when mine froze.



I would insist that they replace it.
