WTB Used Tx Fish Scales

When I first joined my club, we used high-end digital scales and a basket mounted on top to hold the fish in a plastic bag. We constantly had problems with it. All told, we went thru 3 different scales and always had problems with them.



We finally got rid of them and bought two Berkley handheld scales, one as a primary and a second as a backup. Four years later and we're still using the primary with no issues. We built a simple tripod and hang the scales from it. We use a weigh-in bag to hold the fish during the weigh-in. It has holes in the bottom to allow water to drain.



With the weigh-in bag on the hook, we zero out the scale before we weigh our fish. Our scale reads in lbs & ozs. We have checked the scales with scale weights and they are pretty accurate.
