Wow, what a difference

My trolling motor, Motorguide 60, took a dive. I did a search of trolling motors on this sight to read comments and ended up going with a Minn Kota Fortrex 80. Wow, this thing is awesome! Fished in some very strong river current the other day, the MK pulled me around like I was on a flat water lake. Great recommendation guys.

I always have had Minn Kota's through the years and thought I would try the Motorguide 70 that came with my Z7. Plenty of power to me but sure makes a LOT of noise. However .... Did it make a difference catching fish? No, I just had some Awesome days going for big girls so it only seems to just bother me :lol:. I did break a foot Cable in less then 6 months on this thing too :unsure:

When the time comes I will go back to Minn Kota I'm sure.

Yes, and I'm sure you would have noticed a big difference had you purchased a MotorGuide 80-lber as well.
