Caught this one while you guys are wintering, nothing beats a nice bass being caught on the old faithful fluke, 4lb 5oz of Namibian Bass.

It's out in this issue of the National Enquirer.....

Mr. Bass is actually a Kentucky hillbilly living in a trailer park in southern Florida posting from a computer at his local library. All his fish are caught in the canals just west of Miami. He contracts with Big Blue (arrangements made by one Michael Trepper) to route his e-mails and postings so that they appear to have come from Africa. This came to light when it was discovered that he was sending e-mails to Tracker Marine Dealerships offering to pay C.O.D. with a cashiers check from a Namibian bank upon arrival of a new 225 Mercury outboard at his exporting warehouse in Miami.

No we brought them in from South Africa 5 years ago. We stocked 3 lakes with bass. Two of the lakes are open to the public and the smallest one is a private lake. Once a year we go out and catch as many as possible from the private lake and restock the public lakes.

WOW you imported all the bass, that's quite a feat!!! have you seen them reproduce and the population growing in numbers and size??

The last 2 years you can see the population grow and that's cool. We only do catch and release and for a small bass comunity and country it is working. With our hot climate we sometimes do get that the bass spawn twice a year and they grow at a rate thats very similar to the bass in Mexico, maybee in 10-15 years time we will also have bass near the 20lb mark.
