water pump / pressure help.

Hi I had my thermostats popits and water pump replaced again. Do it every 2 years. This time It had low PSI I took it back.they kept it a while It now has 3.9 psi at idle cold was 2.4 before. the temp goes to 163 degrees than the thermostats open water psi drops to 1.9. Themp drops to 121 thermostats close psi goes back to 3.9. this happens 3 times a minute. It is a 2006 200 optimax. I have smartcraft gauges. the psi never fluctuated like that before. Did they put something in wrong or was something wrong before? as the water temp in the lake increases so does the motor temp. 3 weeks ago the motor temp only reached 148 degrees. thanks for any insight.

Does not sound "abnormal". Monitor it closely over the next few outings and let me know if anything changes. I would be FAR more concerned if it DID NOT reach temp.
