trim fluid question !!

i have recently asked about and found out the trim problem on my boat. i was told to put the fluid back in the same hole the other drained from, which is a white screw top......anyway, on the back of the boat this hole is downhill, so how do i get the fluid in the hole and get it to stay......the fluid comes in tubes and when you squeeze the fluid in it just comes back out !! is there sumkind of a pump or etc.??? any help app........thnxxx.

Paul....when I checked mine and after reading about doing it, it seems that when it starts

to overflow just quickly replace the cap, think I read where the fluid level is fine at the overflow area....if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will chime in...it is kinda awkward...

There is a "gadget" that has a tube and screws into the hole and a pump to push it up. Oops, just reread, I was thinking about the lower unit.
