Tracker Pro 128 losing signal

When I am running WOT (about 32mph) and the lake is a little windy, I lose the bottom on my Tracker Pro 128. I can slow down a little and pick it back up.



Does this sound like a problem with the transponder or the sonar unit itself?

It sounds like a problem with the location of the transducer. Be sure that it is in clean water, no rivets in front of it or edges on the hull.

I experienced the same problem and contacted Humminbird. They sent me a different transducer which after installation solved the problem. Contact them and let them know your issue. They actually sent mine to me at no cost and I received it within 3 days of speaking with them. I wish I could remember who I spoke with but it has been about 9 months now.
