My tx partner has a ranger with I belive the Taper Lock bases. I know they have a push lock on the seat and the base is about 1.5 to 2 inches. My question is, I have a lean seat with the regular end on it (it fits my PT 17 fine, about .75 inches in diameter). Will this adapter,in the link below, allow me to put my lean seat and pedestal on his boat?? I belive it will but just want to confirm with the experts.

Thanks

Donnie

If i remember correctly all the Ranger bass boats i have seen have the springfield spring lock bases not the taper lock type. The pole is 1.77". Northern bass sells an adapter to convert it to the 3/4" pin style. The same adapter wpould also work on a nitro that uses the swivel ease 1.77" bases. Heres a link to it. its the top item.
