New owner 2008 nitro 288 sport

Hi! New owner of 2008, just sold our pontoon and excited to have more power to pull and ability to fish. Old owner has pvc caps on the live well inlet/drains on either side of the hill plug. He says live well leaks but I can’t find cracks. Does anyone else cap these off? Any advice on live wells? Thanks

Fill live well from inside and see what leaks, more than likely he was referring to a fitting or connection leaks. Easy to fix usually. Sounds like he was not mechanically inclined or lazy. Welcome to boating!

EDIT Just looking at close up of picture, that drain in center looks like it could be taken out and recaulked. Also when you get leak(s) fixed you'll want to find screens to screw on over the inlets.
