Finally had the time to say hello! Been an owner of a Nitro 896 Savage for 25years now, and must say i LOVE IT! it started with an Evinrude 225XP and was a great engine until the marina mechanic screwed up the VRO pump and it blew! replaced it in 2015 with a slightly used ( 80 hrs) 2006 E-Tech, first time out scared the **** out of me! i thought the XP was strong, the E-Tech is a monster, had it crossing 72MPH once then I CHICKENED OUT! it is comfortable at 4k rpm and running 42-45MPH. I love the storage and the ride. just ordered a replacement trolling motor, the original was tired! had and issue with a trailer bearing a few years back on a road trip with my grandson! Now i do NOT trust Bearing Buddies anymore and repack the bearings yearly! LOL
