A QUESTION TO ANYONE I AM PURCHASING A NEW MERC XR6 150. MY QUESTION IS THE IS NO TORQUE TAB UNDER THE CAVITATION PLATE. I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW IF THERE IS SUSPOSED TO BE ONE, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
P.S. MY UNCLE HAS THE SAME ENGINE AND HE DOESNT HAVE THE TORQUE TAB EITHER AND HIS BOAT PULLS HARD TO THE RIGHT UNDER ANY THROTTLE POSITION. THANKS BRAD BROWN.

Some engines have them some don't... if there is trim tab there should be an anode in it's place.

I have an XR6 on my 882 and it used to pull hard to the right also. Its a simple a realtive easy fix. Just have your dealer install a torque tab. They are inexpensive around 15 bucks and it makes a world of difference.

Torque Tab not really required. Always trim engine for netrual steering.
