We have had a long string of very hot{95+}and very windy{50 mph+}days for the last week. Today however was a post cool front day with North winds and a high only in the 70's.:) I went to a lake that is on the rebound after many years of very low water levels. It filled about three years ago and has been restocked and managed well.

Got there about 9:00 this morning and pulled to a rocky point about 50 yards from the ramp. I was in 10 feet of water casting to the bank pulling a crankbait over a ledge. Second cast yielded a short walleye, third cast a #2 Wiper, 4th cast a keeper walleye. This

honestly continued all day long.

I quit fishing at 3:30 with a total tally of 1 Drum, 2 Bluegill, 16 bass{4 over #3},20 Walleye{only 2 keepers} and 21 Wipers{all about #2.5}.

I had such a quality and relaxing day on the lake I just had to share and hope everyone can experience such a day. Chris F.
