it works but I use the standard colors in my area

cranks:

natural shad color for clear stained water

perch and chartruess(?) for heavy stained and muddy water

crawfish for rocky banks

plastics:

green pumpkin/ translucint for clear/stained water.

dark color for dirty water

s blades:

color chartruess and white

blade colors and type for water difference gold -dirty/ colorado blade

willow silver/gold clear water

I've had to quit fishing, so I've got one for sale if anyone wants one.

It gave me some good information when i remembered to use it.;)

Make me an offer!!

I have one, i have had it for years. It seems neat but i never really use it. If i had the one thay made for a few years with the o2 sensor on it i think i would use it more.

True...how true.

And as far as the "rules" go...they're out the window most of time with me when it comes to color. Ya' know the one where you use natural colors in clear water...WRONG! At least Dale smallies have a preference to chartruese and reds.....according to rule of thumb, that's just the opposite.

I may lean towards one color or another but, even the old pros like Westmoreland said,"It's a preference thing mostly". Not saying that one color will outproduce another...they will.

IMHO it has a lot to do with season and what those fish are feeding on at that time.

I've got one too. I used it about one week total and it wasn't right one time. I even bought the color cordinated crankbaits too. I did use them and their long gone.
