So the wife gave me the go ahead to buy a new steering system for the nitro. I currently have a very cranky rack and pinion. Besides hydraulic ( way out of my price range) I'de like to get something fairly easy to install myself and pretty good quality. I very tired of having fight to make a turn. Is teleflex nfb the main one out there?

On the Nitro I sold Cody (new member 15yrs old on this site) I replaced that piece of junk rack and pinion with a new No Feedback rotatory steering system that I got from here http://www.restorepontoon.com/pontoon/pc/Teleflex-Safe-T-QC-Single-Rotary-Steering-Kit-123p2163.htm.

Cody has driven the boat - I never got to so ask him how it did http://www.transomtalk.com/threads/high-school-tournament-trails.83342/#post-700739.

But it was an easy replacement. Rack & Pinion though for me was an absolute PITA to remove (I'm old and feeble & SENILE) o_O :D
