I finally bit the bullet and ordered the sparetire for my 901CDX. The questions is I was currently in Springfield and saw some of the 901 Legends tournament boats and like the look of the frame mounted tire carrier on the driver side of the trailer verses the standard carrier. Can anyone tell me what kind of holder to buy (vertical or angeled & manufacturer). The Legends boats didn't have the front rack so would anyone advice cutting this off. I also own an 896 that I ended up tearing off the tire carrier in a boat landing two months after buying the boat. I'm afraid I'll do the same with the 901 and figured I would remove it before tearing it off the boat in a landing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rob...
