2013 Sport 290 Prop

New to the forum and a new Nitro owner. I purchased a 2013 290 Sport which has a 19P 3-blade SS prop on a 200 Verado. I’m wondering if anybody had experimented with prop sizes for a little more top speed? I have a 23P 4-blade SS that I’m tempted to try, but thought I’d enquirer before trying. Thank you in advance for any input.

I think with the 4 blade you’ll see a better plane on low/mid range speeds, depending upon how weighted down the boat is you might pick up 2-3mph with the higher pitch. My motors only 1/2 your hp but I went from a 20p 3 to a 23p 4(stainless on both) and that’s what I saw, it made steering easier in my case with a rack but I’m sure yours prolly steers with ease. Also, if it was used and has a hydro foil, yank that off and in my case I went from 35mph to 41
