mini, What exactly does "loosen up" mean when referring to the engine? Are you saying when it fully breaks in or something? And also, what actually happens to an engine after the initial break-in process? Thanks..

Thanks.. WOT before rebuild was between 5600-5800 rpms. After rebuild, between 5000-5200 rpms.

Just trim your motor down to the lowest point and ensure that all water has drained out of your lower unit and you should be fine..

Update on the LEDs... I finally determined after an hour of troubleshooting that the only underlying problem with my right side lights was the wiring. I completely removed the old wires and found the cause... A broken wire! I replaced it with new wires and back in business... All in all...

I agree with you all... Was out fishing on Lake Anna last year, while recovering my boat, I noticed that mt spare tire had been stolen from my trailer.. Keeping your equipment locked is the absolute safest way to preent stealing... Good luck and happy fishing!

John, I had the same thing happen to me last year.. Definitely an overheating alarm of some sort.. Mine went off because the lake was full of hydrilla which clogged my lower end unit's water intake.. I eventually ended up replacing the impeller a month or so later.. Hope this helps..
