Where do they go?

At the end of a tournament, after the weigh-in, the fish are released, do they find their way back to where they were or do they relocate? I hope this isn't too stupid of a question. Hank

I think that most do return to where they are caught as well. they say a smallie will travel a long way to get back to their neighborhood

When I was fishing tournaments my favorite place was around the weigh in sites. Or the closest fishing holding locations to the weigh in site.

I have always heard the bigger fish are more likely to head home, the smaller ones will relocate.
