Trolling motor replacement

I just bought a 2011 nitro z 7. I am looking to change the motor guide trolling motor to a minn Kota. The boat has a recessed trolling motor pedal, will a minn Kota foot pedal fit in the recessed area? The boat is in storage so I cannot measure. Any thoughts or ideas?

Not normally. Depends on the recess. Search here, someone put up the dimensions of the MK peddle. Usually it is larger than a MG.

I also have a Nitro (NX750) and am also interested in the dimensions for Minn Kota pedal, specifically the fortrex. I could not find the dimensions in the search.
