I have a 2012 Z7 with brakes on the trailer. This is my first trailer with brakes, and my understanding is the reverse light pin on the wiring harness stops the brakes from compressing when in reverse, but when pulling the wiring for launching, the coupler latch pin is to be moved to the lock position to stop it from compressing. The problem is the pin isn't quite the right size. Has anyone used something different? Feel like it needs to be a little big bigger to properly stay in place and not bend most importantly.
