2019 Z20 Pro. touch panel wont light up and also dash lights out as well. power switch had a loose wire but tightened and it lights up fine. All electronics work as well as talons ,tilt trim, and jack plate and trolling motor and radio lumbar switch fan switch works.
While on the water the panel lit up and everything worked for about an hour then shut off again. Looking for any suggestions have' not crawled under console yet hoping may be a ground issue. Any suggestion before we dig in. TY

Checked every circuit and every fuse, relay, ground and power feed. Trace 12 volt power directly to the plug feeding the touch switch panel. Conclusion the only thing we can determine is that the switch pad is messed up. Ordered new one from Spyder Controls $150. and pray that this solves the problem. The only thing that happened before this occurrence was the power switch wire was loose and intermittently going on and off .Possibly shorted out the switch pad.

There have been several threads here with similar problems. Do a search for "panel" and go through the various threads.

Final result was the replacement of the touch switch panel. All functions are working again. Purchased the new panel from Spyder Controls for $150. shipped overnight. We believe that when the power button connection was loose and intermittent it toasted something in the circuit board on the touch switches.

Caution must be taken as the touch panels are very week and what happens when you tighten down the two mounting bolts is after a wile it cracks the splice where they are put together and moisture gets inside and shorts out the electronics board. So install a little loose goes a long way for longevity.

On the replacement panel from Spyder Controls it came with a metal plate behind the circuit panel. The one I took off the boat did not have a metal panel behind it. We did not overtightened in any event. Thx for the tip.
