Installed Humminbird target lock mega live on my bass boat foot pedal problem.

Installed TL Hummindbird Mega Live on my Z20 nitro. The steering mechanism works fine with the left and right cursor keys on the HELIX 10. When I pair the foot pedal to the HELIX 10 it says it is paired but it will not steer the transducer. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. The original steering module was frozen , the little electric motor was seized could not get to stay functioning for more than a couple of hours and would lock up up again. So I replaced the the steering module $299. but the pedal still wont steer. The foot pedal would not steer even before I replaced the steering module.

Replace the battery in the remote.

Unpair the remote and then repair it.

Have done that many times. To no avail. Going to call humminbird again!!

Try pulling the fuse for the Live. Reinstallthe fuse after a few seconds, leave the unit/console on during the fuse pull. I had a similar issue and this fixed my problem.
