tire upsizing

I have a Super Glide 16ft. The tire size is 5-30-12 and they wearout fast. My question is, can I just put a 13 inch rim on the same hub assembly, this way I can go with a radial tire. Thank You

As long as it will fit in/under your fenders it shouldn't be a problem. First you will need to make sure they make a rim that fits the bolt pattern of the hub.
