Time to brag .... about the family!!!!

over the weekend my daughter Megan (18) and step daughter Kayla (14) participated in a midwest regional volleyball tournament. They both play on the clubs number 1 teams for their age groups.



Kayla's team won their age group, going undefeated and playing some of their best volleyball of the season. She is a defensive specialist as she is only 5'4". She is also a great server that frequently puts her team up. She is having a great season.:wub:



My daughter as I have said before is just an outstanding volleyball player and is highly sought after by many major colleges around the country. She is a 5'11" outside hitter but as good as she is all around, she is nationally known for her serving. She has been in the top 5 in the nation each year for serving aces. Against another high school team she set a record of 17 straight serves with 14 of them being aces!!!!! Well in the tourney yesterday the score was tied 2 - 2 when she came up to serve. She served 23 straight times and ended the game 25-2!!!!!!!!! No one had ever seen that before against national competition. Just amazing.:wub:

I used to love my daughter play sports in high school. She played volleyball and fastpitch softball. These girls played their hearts out. She even played junior olympic softball and we would travel. We went as far as Cal.
