Shooting Sports

Last fall, four of us locals volunteered to start a 4-H shooting sports program for the local kids. Well after a lot of time, sweat, hard work and great support from the community we are going to have our first BB gun practice today. So wish us luck as we try to teach these youngsters the finer points of competition shooting and keep the future of shooting sports alive!!

Get Them In the NRA...I was a gun dealer owner In the 70s and tought kids alot,,It's a great sport that they enjoy If they are taught right the first time..SAFETY first....My Girls can shoot and they used to like It alot..

They have to pass a safety program that is based on the principals of the NRA before they are even allowed to participate in the program.



And Mac, unlike us as kids, they are required to wear safety glasses!!
