As much as I would love to get Mac's boat, it's a little out of my price range with all the college debt and all. I have a chance to purchase this 1999 Ranger R93 with a 2003 Mercury Optimax on it for just over $18,000. It has the following...

1999 Ranger R93 Dual Console Boat with 2003- 200hp Optimax Motor (low hours)

Motor cost $12,000 in 2003 (low hours)

Always garaged

Hamby Keel Guard

Flipping Deck Extension

Flatfoot recessed trolling motor foot pedal

Minnkota 74 lb. thrust trolling motor

Lowrance GPS ? LMS480, Flasher and X-85 fish finder (3 total)

Stealth-Charge while you run, AC/DC battery charger (never need to plug in )

Livewell pumpout

Hotfoot

Foot and hand trim switches

Digital battery power display on bow

Delco maintenance free trolling batteries and 1000 CCA Deka starting battery.

Trailer has been Rhino-lined (no more painting)

All new brakes, bearings, and tires(3)

Oil filled hubs

Custom rod rack

2 sit down and 2 butt seats

New bench seat covers directly from Ranger

Custom boat cover

I forgot to mention he also would throw in a 4" Detwiler setback plate even though it's not on the boat.. O.K. here's a dumb question, what's a setback plate? Anything like a jackplate?

I'm thinking real serious about picking it up unless someone can give some valid reason that it's not that good of a deal.. Thanks

Buzz

Considering I just got done searching myself for a late model used Ranger, I would say it's a fair price for that much boat. But I'm just going on what I have seen in the last two months.

it's a fixed jack plate you don't need but could sell..OK price If It's In good condition...But only you can see it and take a ride In It..Pictures never tell the whole story..... I would try for a lower price......JR :)

I did Mark but I want to go with a longer hull the the 518 offers, the R93 is 19'8" according to Ranger..

Buzz

I'd seriously take that thing to the lake before I got too attached to it.

I would look at the 518 also. The actual layout of a boat makes a differnce too.

Sounds like a good deal if everything is good to go. Clark
