I've had the prop off my engine since last summer when I had to change the water pump. I never got to use the boat after installing the water pump and never got around to putting the prop back on until today.
Engine: 1996 Mercury 115 with a Quciksilver LaserII prop (OEM)
I may be mistaken, but the installation order is thrust washer, prop, locking tab washer, then the prop nut. I also thought there was a bronze washer that went on before the locking tab washer. Again, I may be mistaken, but I could have sworn there was a bronze washer in the mix. Can anyone help me out with this? The girls are out of school tomorrow and are wanting to go boat riding. Thanks.
