My friend, a local guide, has a PinPoint System on his boat. He now needs a repair...Anybody have any "current" info on what to do. This is what we "think" we know at this point...(bad pun).... Since Mercury bought out PinPoint they have "announced" no more "PinPoint" systems will be built or parts made...They will "integrate" the technology into the Motorguide line... PinPoint repair depots do not have a full inventory of spare parts...
End result is that the owners of these "megabucks" systems are twisting in the wind... He is hoping that some sort of "underground" repair situation will pop up (like OMC)...
Anybody have any better info?
