Well This season I felt it was time for a change in gear . I sold all my Shimano and purchased a couple grand worth of Okuma Products . The C3 and EVX rods are freekin awesome . The Cayenne and serrano baitcasters where really good and even lighter then my curado 201e7 .

I also bought a couple of Trio 30's and 20's for my spinning gear . I will say the trio's look and feel awesome . The drag is immpecable . But after hours of untying windknots I gave up . I have adjusted all the spool disc's to no avail. It is just knot after knot cast after cast .

Love there customer service and I will be trying the VS series and hopefully they are great out of the box.

Might want to check the line roller bearing on your bail. If gritty or lacking lube it can stop rolling. Your line then rubs instead of rolling across, creating twists and kinks. Good luck! ;)
