OK, here's one for you. I have an '88 TV17, and anytime I cut the wheel hard right or hard left at idle, a beep sounds from the ignition area. It's the same beep you hear on oil-injected models when you start it up. I took the oil injection off my motor last year, for what it's worth, but why does it do it only when I cut the wheel hard?

I'm sure there's an explanation out there...

Sounds like a loose wire somewhere at the engine? Look in the area where the main harness goes under the cowl. May help to unplug main harness and check each pin with a test light (end going to boat not engine)I won't sware to it but I think you can turn the warning buzzer on this way and that should at least show you what color of wire to be checking. Hope this helps? Bruce
