Lss 2 Transducer Mount Location

I got a 2000 LX 700 , upgrading to a HDS 9 touch Lowrance and wanting info on the best location to mount the LSS 2 transducer. The 83/200 will be epoxied in the bilge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bobby

it can be mounted on the transom 12" from center below the water line on the starboard side about 6" above the bottom.

no i have a jack plate and that's where i mounted it to. the lss 1 and 2 only read about up to 20 mph and when you are on plane they are out if the water

Hi Fella's - I just purchased a new Z7 and these pics will be of great assistance to me. Any thoughts or reports on any possible bumps or breakage in that location?

there is always a chance of hitting a stump that's way the lss 1& 2 has a kick up feature

I bought a new Z 6. Do I mount the transducer for an Elite 5 TI with structure scan on the transom the same location? You know the sides of the boat come past the transom about a foot.

You would mount the transducer in the hull with epoxy
