Lake Anna (aka played hookey today . . .)

Figured that with only three days vacation taken so far this year, it was well past time to play some hookey. Hooked up with Jim Hemby (guide on Lake Anna) who took a buddy of mine, his son and me out on the cold side (Carter was home sick today ). Bite was slow, but thanks to Jim, we pulled out some respectable stripers!

The two I'm holding are now in the freezer (as fillets!).

Hey CIII - going to be down on Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe if the NSM is then, we'll hook up? Was out on the Potomac today for 1.5 hours catching the last of the outgoing. Nothin'. Course it was late in the day! Going to try again earlier tomorrow. Tight lines!
