Kids Fishing Derby

We had our second kids derby saturday. High winds, cool temps., but sunny and clear. Big fish was a 7lb. 12oz. catfish by a 6 year old girl with a snoopy rod, big bass was 1lb. 4oz. A large number of of other fish.

All the kids had a great time. The door prizes and cookout was the highlight of the day.

There was a 53 boat trounament at the same time. They lost out on the food and sodas (pop for you northners).

Those are really great events. Myself and others donated a bunch of old tournament trophys and these, along with other prizes, were given to kids for winning various events. The kids loved them and my wife was glad to get rid of them. Anything for the kids.
