A couple of weeks ago, 14 fisher people were rescued from an ice break on Lake Erie, they made arrangments to get there gear (4 wheelers, fishing gear, ect.) back after the Coast Guard got them on dry land. When they arrived at the ice break, all their stuff was gone.
Abandoned is all it takes.
