Kenny:

There are so many good lines in that mini-series! (It has been rated the best Western of all-time, believe it or not.)

Woodrow F. Call: "Hell, you don't know even know what it says (the sign on the side of the chuckwagon) . For all you know, it invites people to come along and rob us!"

Gus McCrae: "Well, let 'em rob us then! (Pause) I'd like the chance to shoot at the educated man at least once in my life."

The Blues Brothers.... Animal House... Support your Local Sheriff... Water Hole #9... The President's Analyst... Magnficent Seven... The original three Star Wars...Ahh those were movies

I have to jump back in. I agree with several above regarding Lonsome Dove.

It has to rank as my all time #1 Western. Even if neither John Wayne nor Jimmy Stewart were in it. Woodrow and Gus were just tremendous.

Marke

Hey,..I went and saw "Tears in the Sun" (the new Bruce Willis flick) friday night. It was good!!! Not nearly as intense as "Saving Pvt.Ryan", but it was pretty good!!

I have reason to be partial to "Navy SEALS" anyway, and Bruce did a great job as their leader,....it was a helluva lot better than that Charlie Sheen flick by the same name and that movie was pretty much a joke!! Any SEAL that would act like Charlie did wouldn't even make it through training let alone be assigned to a team...that movie was a joke! Anyway,...Bruce and co. acted like a real unit would, (although, I'm not entirely sure they would've actually gone back and did what they did in the movie)..but then again...this WAS a movie and it showed a lot more of a real human side to their characters personality's that would not be allowed to happen in a real scenario...especially if it jeaopardized the Team member's lives....i can't say anymore withoug giving away too much of the plot,...but it was a GOOD flick!! Check it out!!

I will say that Ethnic Cleansing is one of the most haneous crimes that can ever befall a group of people,...and what happened in the movie is/was happening all over the world today,..so there is some real world stuff going on there!! Some parts are very disturbing....but in the end,...you'll be damn proud to be an American!! Good job Bruce!!!!!

Mac

Forget it, Mac..... All the macho talk in the world about seals and special ops won't help you now..... From now on, we will all picture you as "Ralphie" with a Red Rider BB gun!!

Did you wear glasses as a kid? :^)

me!

And, oh yeah, Ralphie's mom was HOT!!

Scott,...first off,....don't ever forget,..I can kill you with my thumb!! Secondly,...no I never wore glasses as a kid,..and i could shoot the hairs off a fly's arss with my BB gun,...and secondly,.....stay the hell away from my Mom!!

LOL!!!...my deffinition of Hell would be calling you, "Dad!"

hahahhahhah.......
