Bob,...when I replaced the prop on my 150EFI (with the one I bought from you), I had to remove the trim tab anode so the prop would fit. Now that I have hydraulic steering that tab isn't required anyway. My question is,......should I replace the old tab with a new "flat" one or is it even necessary........they're only @ $15-20, no big deal..but if it's "necessary" I will move it up the priority list!! LOL

As always,..thanks for your help and advice.

Unless you are "mooring" your boat, then it is not needed. BUT.....I would recommend it anyhow because it fills the empty pocket and {ever so much} helps planing......;)
