Boat Speed

Hello. I'm new to the site. I have a tournament V18 tracker with a 115 optimax. My top speed WOT 5600 rpm is 43 mph. Anyone have this style boat and motor and what is your performance like. I am running a alum prop 13x19 pitch.

If you're running 43 at 5600 rpm WOT, you're golden. Don't change a thing.

I get 45 -46 gps out of mine. I went to a 19" Spitfire prop, and, although the top end did not change much, the acceleration is much quicker.

Some may get more speed and some less. It all depends on the load weight you're carrying on board.

I have a friend who has that rig. You're about there don't mess with it. aS you accumulate gear and friends this will slow a bit.
