Heard back from mechanic and said everything checked out with charging system. He stated the battery I had was not strong enough for the boat. I think he said it was a 500 and need at least 700 or 850 if that is the right lingo. Just wondering why I haven't had any problems for last two years. Was wondering if there could be anything else draining the battery or if is truly the problem. Again, any ideas??? Thanks!!

500 CCA is pretty low. It wouldn't hurt to get a 800-850 CCA battery.

Sometimes a battery cell gets week and will not show when the battery is checked. The battery is two years old it may be getting weeker. Charge the battery check the voltage after it is charged. Let it sit for a week and check the voltage again if the voltage has decreased to 10.5 volts or lower time for a new battery.
