A good hello from Utah Bob and a small problem from what has been an outstanding boat and Mercury motor. The sending unit float for the fuel gage seems to be sticking. It will seem to be stuck on the bottom but when I jar the boat, on the trailer, back and forth it will go to 3/4 full which is the level I believe its at and stay there for several days and then repeat. My question is the access to the sending unit and fuel pickup & tank where it appears to be; under the rear deck straight away from the filler on the port side? Access would seem near impossible unless I tear up the carpeting and the plywood of the rear deck. Any thoughts would really be appreciated and thank you.
