Looks kind of rough. I know you've explained that but how about cleaning her up and taking pictures to show unless you just want to settle for whatever you can get.

Was it under cover for the last year when you didn't have time to buff her.

Why is the boat registered in NY while you're in PA? or am I wrong?

Uncle Billy

Yes it has been covered. If you read the ebay link you'd see I listed her cover on there as well.

I just moved to pa less then a month ago and the boat is staying at my fathers house in ny. This is where I previously rented from.

And reason I havent cleaned her up is because I have absolutely 0 time. With my new commute to work, new house, pregnant wife (who btw is 38 weeks pregnant), and everything else I just have no time to do the boat right.

So I just basically want to get rid of her, pay off the loan, and be done with it.

Looks OK to me.

Normal scratches for a boat that has actually been fished out of. Besides, if it is a nice enough day to clean the boat, you should be out fishing instead.;)

If I was in the market for a bigger boat right now, I'd take a closer look at it.

Steve

Steve, I think I asked perfectly good questions and made one comment on that boat. I would also take a much better look at it if I was in the market but it would depend on the price.

Personally I would have paid someone to detail the boat knowing I would more than get that back at sale time. I downloaded the pictures and used a graphics program to blow them up so I could see better.

Jason, I read the e-bay link but throwing in the cover at sale time doesn't mean you used it.

Asking about where you live as compared to where the boat was is registered is a no brainer.

I'm sorry you don't have time to fish anymore. I do wish you and your wife as much happiness as can be had and I will say a prayer for a happy and healthy baby when the time comes.

Uncle Billy

P.S. I forgot.. Jason, if it doesn't sell on e-bay why not put a price on it and post it here again under a new heading?

What graphics program did you use to blow up the pictures?

Also just a fyi, by blowing up the pictures you pixelate them thus causing it to look "rougher" then what it really is... Trust me on this, I work for the dod in their multimedia department...

;0)

Jason, I am not fighting with you over your boat and this is the last I have to say about it. For me anyway, the pictures are not and would not be good enough for me to make a decision about buying it if I wanted to. I understand everything you are saying about pixels, etc and I used PhotoShop 5.5. I wasn't trying to create a perfect photograph, I just wanted to look at certain things closer and I didn't blow them up that much.

You don't seem to understand I didn't say anything bad about your boat except that it looked "rough" to me. Steve dissagreed, that was his opinion.

Like I said before, if it doesn't sell on e-bay why not post a new thread here and just say, " I need to sell this boat NOW. This is what I owe on so give me that and drive her away"?

Uncle Billy

My only advise would be to tell the people that ask what the reserve price is. You will get more people bidding that way. A lot of people (including me) won't waste their time bidding on an auction if they don't know where they have to be. Saying the reserve is your payout may or may not be a good price (ie if you owe $15000 on the boat)

Good luck

Boat is still for sale.

Asking 13k... Email [email protected] for more details.
