Z6 Engine Height

I've got a 2011 Z6 with the 115 Merc. What do you find to be the best mounting height on the transom for the engine? Mine is mounted in the fourth hole (three holes exposed above the transome). At this height I have almost no trim range. I know lowering the height, will allow more trim range,but I'm not sure how it will react with the step hull. I've never had a step hull before. Any advise?

You are better off installing a manual jackplate to find the sweet spot for your setup. Moving your motor up or down by mounting engine dosen't give you enough adjustmet. 1/4" makes alot of difference.
