X135 and LMS480 vs X105C and LMS335C

Lowrance just put up two new graphs, the X105CDF and LMS335CDF which are color graphs with 4000 watts of power



Question is this, would you rather have 320 - 240 Resolution with color



or



480 x 480 in monocrome?



I think the x105CDF and LMS335CDF are also alot more $$$

Well... hmmm.. I have the lcx-18c and the resolution is CERTAINLY not a problem. It has a larger screen too. Certainly no need for color at the bow. My suggestion is the front of the boat get a simple Eagle 480 at $199. mono 480x480. Now, what do you intend to do with those 4000 watts other than deafen the fish?

It's more of a color lower res vs mono higher res question. I already upgraded to the LMS480 and 135 through the federation...



It was just that these two are exactly the same unit minus the res and color



As for the 4000 watts, I noticed a difference between my old X87 and my friends x97 (2400 watts vs 3000 watts) on what it picked up
